Baisha is a practical base for a slower journey through western Hainan’s interior, where tea-growing landscapes and Li communities matter more than a checklist of large attractions.

About Baisha travel base

Yacha provides the county-town services, while the tea-garden areas require short road outings. The surrounding rainforest landscape is protected, so scenic driving and authorised visitor stops are more appropriate than improvised forest trekking. Choose accommodation with reliable onward transport if you are not travelling by car.
