This notice describes China Revealed and the services used by its travel tools. External services apply their own privacy terms.
Browsing this website
The website host delivers pages through Cloudflare's network. Requests include the information needed to deliver pages and assets, such as an IP address, browser information and the requested address, and the host keeps its own logs. Cloudflare can set a short-lived security cookie (__cf_bm) that helps tell visitors from automated traffic; China Revealed does not use it for analytics or advertising. If a page fails, the website can send a technical error code and the page path to its own diagnostic endpoint. The diagnostic message does not include search terms, form content or account details.
Search and trip planning
Destination searches and category filters run in your browser. This website has no account-registration form, newsletter form, contact-submission database or booking form. Search and filter selections do not create a booking with China Revealed.
Interactive maps
Street maps load when you scroll close to them. Your browser then requests map tiles directly from OpenStreetMap, which receives the network information needed to serve them, such as your IP address and browser information. Enlarged metro diagrams are served as website assets. Opening Amap or Apple Maps sends you to that provider with the selected place search.
Weather
The weather tool requests a forecast for a named gateway city from this website. The website retrieves and caches MET Norway forecast data. It does not ask for your device location. Gateway weather is not a province-wide observation.
Bookings and external links
Booking buttons open Trip.com. Choose or change your destination, route, dates and guest details there; China Revealed does not collect those selections in a booking form. Trip.com handles reservations, payment and its own privacy choices.
Storage and future changes
This website does not set its own cookies or run advertising scripts. It keeps one technical flag in your browser's session storage so that, after a site update, a page reloads itself at most once; the flag is cleared when you close the tab. The host and external providers may have their own logging, cookies or access controls. No site analytics script is enabled. This notice will be updated before new forms, analytics, advertising, embedded booking widgets or other services are enabled.
