About Great Khan's Palace
Its central sequence uses monumental gates, an Eternal Heaven archway, a council tent, an ovoo and a sacrificial platform to present Mongol cultural themes. Reliefs and historical displays recount Genghis Khan and the development of the Yuan period.
The county recorded its construction as a recent tourism investment in 2014. The buildings are therefore best understood as a modern interpretation of imperial and nomadic imagery. A separate recreation zone forms part of the larger complex.
