About Lishui Street

The corridor runs for roughly 300 metres, with benches along the water side and shopfronts on the inner side. Dark tiled roofs, stone paths and small bridges give the street its close relationship with the water. Restoration begun in 2019 introduced new uses into the old shops; renewed cobbled lanes around the corridor have further extended the visitor area.

What to look for

  • The long timber corridor and its benches overlooking the water.
  • The stone paths, small bridges and renewed lanes beside the covered street.
