About Wanfo Mountain
Wooded ridges, pines and distinctive rock forms frame its streams and waterfalls. Tianmen Peak and Shuangjian Peak are among the named heights, while Tianhe and Longwei waterfalls mark the water-shaped side of the mountain landscape.
The forest also has a scientific and educational role: Wanfo Mountain serves as a field-teaching base for Anhui Agricultural University and the provincial forestry college. This combination of mountain landforms and forest habitats gives the area interest beyond its highest summit.
