About Detian Transnational Waterfall
Detian Transnational Waterfall is a major waterfall landscape at the China–Vietnam border in Daxin County, within the Chongzuo area of Guangxi. The Chinese scenic area is located at Detian village in Shuolong Town. Its appeal comes from broad falling water set within a border landscape of hills, river and viewpoints.
The operator describes several viewing platforms and other visitor spaces that provide different angles on the falls. The wider Detian–Ban Gioc cross-border tourism arrangement is a separate part of the destination's operation. Viewing the waterfall from the Chinese side does not itself mean that a visitor has entered Vietnam or is eligible for a cross-border itinerary.
Begin with the regular scenic-area route and compare the falls from a lower riverside view and a permitted elevated viewpoint. Water volume, spray and visibility change with conditions. Confirm any additional boat, elevated walkway, evening programme or cross-border product before including it in your plan. Use the relevant operator and border authority's current requirements for a crossing; do not infer eligibility from an ordinary scenic-area ticket or from another traveller's experience.
What to look for
- A waterfall landscape on the China–Vietnam border.
- Several viewpoints offering different relationships to the falls and surrounding hills.
- The distinction between Chinese-side sightseeing and a separately managed border crossing.
