About Tangmo Village
Tangan Garden brings together Shadi Pavilion, the Tongbao Hanlin Archway, Gaoyang Bridge and Jing Pavilion. The water street and the garden's Little West Lake give the village a waterside character, while the former homes of scholar Xu Chengyao and merchant Wang Yingchuan add a residential dimension.
Tangmo's tourism development also includes the Chinese-French rural guesthouse project, created by relocating old Huizhou houses from elsewhere in the region. Their carved beams and deep courtyards belong to a conservation and reuse project alongside the village's surviving monuments.
