About Bapai Mountain

Luoding's city government media centre lists Bapai Mountain among Guangdong's ten most beautiful high-mountain grasslands, and the mountain is popularly styled "Guangdong's Shangri-La". Fuller descriptive material on the summit's individual peaks, its meadows and its flora could not be traced to an institutional source within the available search budget, so this entry is necessarily brief.

What to look for

  • The summit area at 1080.5 metres, where Luoding's range meets the neighbouring territories of Yangchun and Xinyi.
  • The high-mountain grassland for which the site is locally styled "Guangdong's Shangri-La" and listed among the province's ten most beautiful high-mountain grasslands.
