About Longguizhai Waterfall

Fengshun County Tourism Bureau gives the site a total height of 125 metres, with the fall itself dropping 115 metres and measuring 62 metres across, and describes the water as plunging into two deep pools. The bureau's description also records large numbers of 冰臼 pothole rock groups within the waterfall area. The surrounding tourist area is set out along the Wenshui Creek with the fall as its starting point, extending as far as the Daba forest farm over roughly 20 square kilometres.

The bureau calls it the largest waterfall in the eastern Guangdong region and records two epithets applied to it locally, "Guangdong's Huangguoshu Waterfall" and "the first waterfall of eastern Guangdong". The county government's page on Tangkeng Town lists 龙归寨瀑布 among the sites within the town, alongside the Wanfo Garden in Fengshun Park, the Li Jianzhen memorial hall, the former residence of Ding Richang and the Jinjiang Lou former residence of Xu Minghong. Donglian, which the tourism bureau gives as the fall's location, was a separate town until October 2004, when it was merged with the former Tangkeng and Fucheng towns to form the present Tangkeng.

The Rongjiang North River and the Wenshui Creek both cross Tangkeng, which is the town containing the Fengshun county seat.
