About Yalong Bay

Yalong Bay is a crescent-shaped bay east of central Sanya, with a broad sandy shore backed by hills and resort development. Its coastal setting makes it a destination for beach time, sea views and separately operated marine activities. The bay itself is distinct from the hillside Tropical Paradise Forest Park, which provides a view down toward the coast.

The Sanya government describes the combination of fine sand, tropical coastal planting and a long resort shoreline. More recent reporting also highlights beach restoration and coral conservation. These are useful reminders that the coast is an environment being managed, not a fixed scene whose water colour, clarity or swimming conditions can be guaranteed from promotional photographs.

Choose a public access point and decide whether the main purpose is a shoreline walk, time at a supervised beach area or a booked activity.
