About Duolun Lake

Seven linked lakes form the core of the scenic area. Several peninsulas, including a sandy projection, break up the shoreline and create changing relationships between enclosed water and open views. The lake also forms part of the system that transfers Luan River water towards Tianjin.

Freshwater fish are part of the lake's local identity. Carp, crucian carp and silver carp are among the fish recorded in its waters, and lake-fish dishes connect the scenery with the area's food culture.
