About Huanggangliang Mountain
The forest park's characteristic scenery includes open stands of mixed trees with grass growing between them, as well as denser woodland and meadow. Changes in tree cover and elevation create a succession of forested slopes, open ground and views across the valleys.
Huanggangliang Reservoir, also called Qixing Lake, lies inside the park on the upper Huanggang River. Larches beside the water and the winding river valley are distinctive features. In autumn, foliage adds yellow, green and red to the mountain slopes, with trees reflected in the reservoir.
