About Shenlu Peak

The resort draws on Shuangyang's tradition of deer keeping. Bailuyuan sits against the forested hillside, with separate animal-keeping and visitor-interaction areas, making deer a central part of the place's identity.

Boardwalks follow the mountain contours, while a cantilevered glass viewing structure, shaped like an aircraft's nose, projects into the open mountain view. The natural cave has been adapted with projection effects, and the summit's Juyun cafe offers another setting for enjoying the surrounding hills. These built attractions give the forested mountain a family-resort character.

What to look for

  • Bailuyuan's deer enclosures in their hillside setting.
  • The aircraft-nose-shaped glass viewing structure and forest panorama.
  • The cave with projection effects and the 711-metre summit setting.
