About Juehua Island
The main island has an elongated, irregular outline and rises higher in the south than in the north. Smaller Zhangjiashan and Yangjiashan islands lie to its south, while Mopanshan lies to the north, setting the main island within a small offshore group.
Dalonggong Temple and Bajiao Well are among the island's named historical landmarks. Remains associated with the old garrison settlement, Fengta Temple and Dabei Pavilion add further layers of history. The eastern coastal park, Jiujing rock area and Bodhi Culture Park give the island distinct places to explore along its shore and cultural landscape.
