About Qing Yongling Mausoleum

Qing Yongling in Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County is the ancestral burial complex associated with Nurhaci’s forebears. Together with Fuling and Zhaoling in Shenyang, it forms the group commonly called the Three Mausoleums of Shengjing. Its location in Xinbin makes it a separate regional visit rather than another stop within Shenyang city.

Four memorial stele pavilions honour prominent ancestors, while the burial and offering areas combine an ordered imperial arrangement with early Manchu traditions. The complex stands below Qiyun Mountain. Its importance comes from the Qing ruling family’s origins and the later state ceremonies that gave this ancestral landscape enduring political significance.

Read the names and family relationships on the interpretation before following the building sequence. This makes the four pavilions more meaningful than a row of similar structures. Compare the relatively restrained architectural forms with the larger tomb complexes elsewhere, and keep the ancestors’ burial history distinct from the reign dates of later emperors who visited or repaired the site.

Getting to Qing Yongling Mausoleum

Use 清永陵 with 新宾满族自治县永陵镇. Arrange the road journey independently from visits to Shenyang’s Fuling and Zhaoling mausoleums.
