About Lingbi Stone Culture Park

The park uses the architectural vocabulary of Suzhou gardens, with pavilions and viewing structures arranged among water, trees and stones. Bianyang Tower is its principal landmark, named for its position north of the old Bian River.

The tower combines a reinforced-concrete lower storey with timber upper levels. Its displays extend from ornamental stones to objects from Lingbi's history and paintings of Zhong Kui, giving the garden a cultural focus beyond the outdoor rock arrangements.

What to look for

  • The central lake, pavilions and ornamental-stone arrangements.
  • Bianyang Tower's timber upper structure above its modern lower storey.
  • Museum displays of ornamental stones, Lingbi historical objects and Zhong Kui paintings.
