About Xinghuacun Cultural Scenic Area
Construction began in 2012, with the folk-experience area opening in October 2015. The park draws on the twelve scenes recorded in Lang Sui's Qing-period Xinghuacun gazetteer, translating that literary landscape into features such as Beicunkou, Baipu Hefeng, Muzhi Tower and Kui Garden. Shili Bridge and the tower give the recreated village scenery recognisable landmarks.
What to look for
- Muzhi Tower and Shili Bridge within the recreated village landscape.
- The named landscape scenes of Baipu Hefeng and Kui Garden.
- Beicunkou, the village-style entrance featured in the park's design.
