About Xiling Snow Mountain
The Dafeishui front mountain is a walking route, while the ski-field side combines seasonal recreation with a higher sightseeing area at Riyueping. Two cableways serve different stages: Yuanyangchi reaches the middle mountain, and Riyueping continues upward. In Dayi County, the mountain forms part of the Qionglai mountain range (邛崃山系) within Chengdu's territory. Its main peak, Daxuetang (大雪塘), rises to 5,364 metres and is covered with snow throughout the year. The mountain landscape includes a scenic area, a ski field and the hot-spring resort of Huashuiwan Wenquan Dujiqu (花水湾温泉度假区). The Tang poet Du Fu (杜甫) may have referred to this mountain in a couplet pairing snow on a western ridge, seen through a window, with boats moored outside a door.

Travel via Dayi to the entrance named on your ticket. For the ski-field and Riyueping route, distinguish the Yuanyangchi transport cableway from the higher sightseeing cableway. The Dafeishui walking entrance is a separate choice; confirm weather-related operation before departure.
