About Mao'er Mountain
Southern hemlocks and high-elevation dwarf woodland are distinctive parts of its vegetation. The summit rock resembles a crouching cat, giving the mountain its name, while the surrounding highlands feed the Li River’s headwaters. Choose the managed visitor route and look at the changing forest as well as the summit; the nature reserve’s research and protected areas are not open exploration ground.

Location & getting there
Getting to Mao'er Mountain
Use the Mao’er Mountain visitor approach at Gaozhai, Huajiang Yao Township, Xing’an County. Confirm the scenic area’s internal transfer and open walking sections at this lower arrival point before heading uphill.
