Chishui Danxia 赤水丹霞

Chishui Danxia is a group of separate landscapes in which red sandstone cliffs meet dense subtropical vegetation and falling water.

About Chishui Danxia

The operator groups the Great Waterfall, Foguang Rock and Yanzi Rock as distinct scenic areas. Foguang Rock concentrates attention on the large red cliff, while the Great Waterfall follows a water-cut gorge. Choose the landscape that interests you most and allow for road transfers if adding another area; these are not adjoining stops on one short path.

Getting to Chishui Danxia

The official scenic-area directory lists the visitor reception centre at Changjiang New Village in Fuxing town, Chishui. Confirm which of the operator’s three scenic gates your booking and road transfer serve; a general Chishui Danxia destination does not identify one entrance.

General visit reminders

Allow room for the terrain and weather when choosing your route. Check the operator’s current trail, shuttle and cableway notices where applicable, and confirm the return connection before setting out. A broad landscape pin does not identify every trailhead or access point.
