About Zunyi Conference Site
The upstairs meeting room is presented with tables, chairs and photographs of the participants, while the neighbouring exhibition explains the Long March and the January 1935 conference. Begin with the building’s modest domestic scale, then use the displayed objects and maps to understand the wider military and political context. Follow the current visitor circuit through the historic rooms.
The site was listed by the State Council in the first batch of Major Historical and Cultural Sites Protected at the National Level (全国重点文物保护单位) in March 1961. It also forms the core part of the Zunyi Conference Memorial Hall (遵义会议纪念馆), a national AAAA-level scenic area (国家AAAA级景区).
The memorial's collection includes the meeting-room wall clock, transferred to the museum in 1955 after being used elsewhere. Its wooden case has carved plant decoration and a glass-fronted face, but the hands and pendulum are missing. In 1994 it was classified as a first-grade revolutionary cultural relic (一级革命文物).
