About Yongqing Temple
The present complex was completed in 2009 as a reconstruction of an older religious institution, rather than being an intact ancient temple. Its white-jade Buddhist images, ordered halls and planted grounds are the main reasons to visit. Pair the religious compound with an accessible nearby coastal walk, keeping temple visits and beach recreation as distinct parts of the outing.
What to look for
- White-jade Buddhist images in the open temple halls.
- The rebuilt courtyards and their coastal garden setting.
