About Baoding Museum
The Baoding Story exhibition connects the Yan capital, the Mancheng tombs and Ding-kiln ceramics with the area's later role near the imperial capital. Baoding Memory changes the focus to skills and performance, including Quyang stone carving, Xushui lion dancing and Laodiao opera. Seeing these two strands together gives useful context for the area's tombs, temples and craft communities before making separate excursions.
