About Wanlong Ski Resort
Its named trails include Wolong and Youlong as well as steeper mountain routes, but an old trail description is no substitute for the current piste map. The useful distinction here is between the base area, suitable open skiing terrain and higher mountain viewpoints. Build the day around your actual skiing level and the lifts operating that day.
What to look for
- The Honghualiang mountain setting and the changing views between the base and upper slopes.
- The graded trail network, including the named Wolong and Youlong routes; follow the current classification and opening signs.
Location & getting there
Getting to Wanlong Ski Resort
Arrange arrival at the Wanlong ski base on Honghualiang in Chongli, rather than at a general Zhangjiakou or Chongli city point.
- At the base, confirm the open beginner or appropriate-level terrain, equipment arrangements and last return lift before going up.
