About Chunqiu Tower

The tower and monumental Guan Sheng Hall give the complex its martial focus, while an eastern courtyard with Wen’an Pavilion represents the domestic side of the story. A neighbouring Confucian temple creates a distinctive pairing of the literary and martial sages. The buildings express later commemoration rather than an intact Three Kingdoms residence.

What to look for

  • Chunqiu Tower and Guan Sheng Hall, with a large seated image of Guan Yu.
  • Wen’an Pavilion and the courtyard setting beside the neighbouring Confucian temple.

Location & getting there

Getting to Chunqiu Tower

General visit reminders

Choose the building, exhibition or part of the historic area you most want to see, then leave time to explore its setting.
