About Mui Wo
Silvermine Bay Promenade runs between the Cooked Food Market and Silvermine Bay Beach, with open water on one side and the town’s daily activity nearby. The beach and River Silver retain names associated with the valley’s former mining industry. Begin with this coastal stretch and the pier-area food streets; inland waterfall or cycling outings need their own route and weather plan rather than being assumed part of the same short circuit.
What to look for
- Silvermine Bay Promenade follows the waterfront between the food market and beach.
- Silvermine Bay Beach opens into a broad sandy shoreline beside the former mining valley.
