About Blue Moon Valley
The river spreads into named lakes, including Yuye, Jingtan, Lanyue and Tingtao, with cascades connecting sections of the valley. Mountain reflections and the colour of the water change with light, cloud and flow. Use the designated waterside route to compare the pools and their surroundings; this is a valley visit and does not require going up to Glacier Park.
What to look for
- The named lakes provide different views of the blue-green water and wooded slopes.
- Cascades connect the stepped waterscape beneath the mountain.
