About Lanshan Park
The broad staircase and curved, Roman-inspired colonnade form its recognisable composition. From the upper public areas, the lake and distant Helan Mountains give the setting its scale. It was created for Ningxia’s 2008 anniversary celebrations; the classical-looking architecture is contemporary rather than an ancient ruin.
What to look for
- A broad staircase leads toward the curved amphitheatre architecture.
- Upper viewpoints look across Yuehai toward the Helan Mountains.
