About Lu Xun Park and Shanghai Luxun Museum
Lu Xun Park and Shanghai Luxun Museum (鲁迅公园与鲁迅纪念馆) combine a public park with literary memorial sites in Shanghai's Hongkou District. The museum introduces the life and work of Lu Xun, the pen name of writer Zhou Shuren.
The park includes Lu Xun's tomb and memorial spaces as well as planted paths and Tian'ai Lake. Inside the museum, biographical displays and documents place his writing, editing and cultural work in context. The literary and landscape parts of the visit complement one another, but one can also be chosen without trying to see every related site.
Lu Xun's former residence is a separate building on Shanyin Road, although it belongs to the same museum institution. Do not assume that visiting the park automatically includes the house. A useful sequence is the museum for background, followed by the tomb and a park walk; add the residence as a deliberate extra stop if you want a closer view of his domestic setting.
