Baquan Gorge is a steep-sided mountain gorge in Huguan County's Taihang landscape, combining a water-level journey with elevated cliff viewpoints.
The visitor route uses several different transport elements, including a boat, a viewing lift and a cableway. These create very different perspectives: the narrow water corridor, the height of the rock walls and the wider mountain skyline. The Sky City viewing platform is one of the named features. This is the Shanxi attraction, separate from the similarly named Taihang Grand Canyon in Linzhou, Henan.
