About Shigao Mountain
Longyin Valley follows a stream between steep rock faces and densely vegetated slopes. Its gorge alternates between narrow passages and wider spaces, with Dishuiya waterfall dropping over a cliff farther into the valley. Woodland is another feature of the mountain, especially the changing autumn foliage and the mottled trunks of its white-barked pines.
The Tianzhu area brings buildings and caves together. Tianzhu Temple occupies a natural cavern at the middle rock level, where halls follow the shape and height of the mountain. The surrounding cave landscape includes springs and stalactites, giving this part of Shigaoshan a different character from the open valley below.

Getting to Shigao Mountain
Check weather, trail access and the last return service. A mountain or forest area is not one entrance, and a map’s central pin may be far from the trailhead.
