About Bifengxia
The gorge paths pass beneath steep rock walls and through a setting of streams and waterfalls; the rebuilt Qingyun Elevator makes the height difference particularly apparent. Panda viewing takes place in designated public areas, including the nursery section when open. Keep these experiences distinct from the wider resort’s wildlife zoo, and select tickets and internal transport for the parts you intend to visit.

Getting to Bifengxia
Use Bifengxia Scenic Visitor Centre in Bifengxia Town, Yucheng District, Ya’an. From the centre, follow the current internal transfer for the panda base or the Qingyun Elevator and gorge route. Confirm that your ticket covers the chosen areas rather than the separate wildlife-zoo product.
