About Wuling Farm
Wuling Farm lies in the Qijiawan Creek valley in Taichung's Heping District, within a high mountain landscape far from the urban centre. Established in 1963, the farm combines a history of agricultural development with forest, watercourses and visitor recreation. Its valley setting is more useful for understanding the place than the idea of one isolated flower-viewing spot.
The farm's terrain ranges through different elevations and supports orchards, planted areas and wooded slopes. The changing seasons affect the experience: blossom, fruit, autumn colour and cooler winter conditions draw attention to different parts of the landscape. These are seasonal patterns, not fixed dates or guarantees of a particular display.
A visit can focus on the cultivated landscape and valley paths without becoming a high-mountain expedition.
