The county government's directory of its townships puts 最美桃花沟, the finest peach blossom gully, inside 倾多镇, and lists the 岗云杉林 spruce forest among the main tourist spots of 扎木镇. A 2023 county feature gives the forest the fuller name 波密岗乡云杉林 and says it has been rated one of China's ten most beautiful forests, and the same feature describes 波密桃花沟 as China's largest and longest peach blossom valley, with blossom running for tens of kilometres.

An item the regional culture and tourism department carries, credited to Bomi culture and tourism, fills in the valley. It calls the area 波堆桃花谷, says it is known for wild peach woodland running for a hundred li, and puts its peak at mid-to-late March into early April. Inside the valley it names several old villages: 如纳村, which it says has been one of the most popular places for blossom viewing in past years and one of the areas where Bomi's blossom opens earlier; 巴康村, which it says is one of the places where the blossom is densest, with peach woodland, highland barley and snow mountains visible in one frame from the viewing platform; and 玉许乡, where it says the blossom opens slightly later than in neighbouring areas.

A second department feature, credited to 西藏文旅, describes the trees themselves: nearly 200,000 wild old peach trees with an average age of 400 years opening across the slopes each March, and the species given as 光核桃, which the feature says the International Union for Conservation of Nature lists as endangered. The same feature describes 岗云杉林 as a primeval forest of tall straight spruce and other conifers mixed with broadleaf trees, with highland rhododendrons opening in it in spring and a lake it calls 草湖 set in meadow. The department's peach-blossom item places 岗巴村 in 扎木镇, at the point where the entrance to the 岗云杉林 must be passed, and gives 19 March to 9 April as its expected best blossom window.

Two limits on this record's scope. The county government and the department do not use one name for the valley — the county writes 波密桃花沟, the department writes 波堆桃花谷 — and no cited page equates the two. And the county's own 2019 township list contains no 岗乡 among its ten units; the name survives in the cited sources only inside 波密岗乡云杉林, so the catalogue's 岗乡桃花 is treated here as the blossom around the spruce forest rather than as a separate township.
