About Mengsuo Dragon Pool
The lake sits at 1,170 m elevation, covering 46.7 hectares (about 700 mu), measuring 740 m north-south and 1,000 m east-west, with a maximum depth of 37.8 m and an average depth of 11.5 m. It is encircled by primeval forest, and its waters attract wild ducks, egrets and other waterbirds that feed and rest along its shore. The scenic area also includes the neighbouring Muyiji Sacred Valley (木依吉神谷).
