Qinchuan is a traditional village in Langchuan Township, Chun'an County, in the western Hangzhou region. Houses follow the two sides of Qinchuan Stream, with bridges linking the settlement across the water. The stream's bends help organise the village, making the relationship between waterways, paths and domestic buildings a useful focus for a walk.
A published geographical study documents the village's surviving Ming and Qing architectural character, including Huizhou-style buildings, ancestral halls and other communal spaces.
