About Zhujiajian Nansha Beach and Daqing Mountain
Nansha lies in the chain of beaches along Zhujiajian's southeastern coast known as Shili Jinsha, or the 'ten-li golden sands'. The first China Zhoushan International Sand Sculpture Festival was held here in 1999, establishing a link between the island's fine sand and large sculpted forms.
Daqingshan brings together Qiansha, Lisha and Qingsha beaches with coastal cliffs and gullies shaped by the sea. Lisha is backed by woodland, while the Lizhunong sea gully gives the rocky shore a more dramatic form. Above the coast, Qingshan Peak offers a higher perspective over the island scenery and surrounding shipping waters.
