About Naxianghai Coastal Resort

The resort was assembled rather than inherited: its operators list Jiming Island, a forest hot spring, a cultural and arts centre, the Xianghai flower street and an adventure park among its projects, alongside several hotels. The buildings are in a European style, and the main visitor areas are the flower street, a landmark bridge, the arts hall and a Ferris wheel park. This is a leisure development, so the historical interest lies in the coast itself rather than in the architecture.

The natural features the resort draws on are set out in its own listing: sixteen kilometres of coastline, a beach about 2.5 kilometres long, a hot spring drawing on natural underground mineral water, an offshore island of 0.31 square kilometres and roughly 2,000 mu of black pine forest.
