Jiading Zhouqiao Old Street (嘉定州桥老街) is a historic quarter in Shanghai's Jiading District. Its streets and waterways sit within the broader Zhouqiao scenic area, which brings together several landmarks from the old town.
Fahua Pagoda is one of the area's principal visual anchors. The wider group also includes Jiading's Confucius Temple and Qiuxia Garden, offering a combination of urban streets, educational heritage and garden design. The neighbourhood's surviving and conserved architecture expresses the Jiangnan town setting more clearly when viewed as a group than as isolated photo stops.
Begin with the old street and its immediate waterway setting, then choose one additional landmark for a closer visit. A stroll through the public quarter is different from entering every museum, pagoda precinct or garden included in the scenic-area description.
