About Chaojing Park
Chaojing Park is an open coastal recreation space in Keelung's Zhongzheng District, beside the Badouzi area. Its name refers to the meeting of ocean currents, and the surrounding marine environment provides context for a visit focused on the sea.
The park combines paths, waterfront views and large outdoor artworks. A nautilus-shaped slide is one of the identified features, linking the recreational landscape with a marine theme. Take time to see the relationship between the installations and the open shore rather than treating each artwork as an isolated photo stop.
Chaojing Park and the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology are neighbouring attractions with different functions and access arrangements. An outdoor park visit can be combined with museum interpretation, but it does not include entry to every nearby exhibition or permission to explore restricted coastal habitats.
What to look for
- Open coastal views around the Badouzi shoreline.
- Large outdoor artworks with marine associations.
- A setting close to marine-science interpretation and visitor facilities.
