About Root Palace Buddhist Kingdom
Founder Xu Guqing established a root-carving factory in the 1990s and Quzhou Zuigen Arts in 2000. The resulting cultural tourism area grew from this local craft industry. Its named features include Zuigen Tiangong Museum and Zuigen Pagoda, while a root-carved Shakyamuni figure and an ensemble of 500 arhats give the Buddhist theme its most specific expression.
