About Longquan Mountain
Huangmaojian opens onto successive mountain ridges, while the cliffside walk brings the rock face into close view: pines emerge directly from cracks in the stone. Forest, exposed outcrops and changing cloud conditions give the high ground several distinct appearances.
Fengyang Lake adds a quieter waterside scene. This artificial mountain lake reflects the surrounding slopes and can be veiled in mist. In cold, damp conditions, ice and rime can form on tree branches elsewhere in the mountain landscape; these are weather-dependent features.
What to look for
- Huangmaojian's summit panorama across the surrounding ridges.
- Pines rooted in the rock beside the cliffside walk.
- Fengyang Lake and reflections of the mountain slopes.
