About Qingyuan Covered Bridges
Yueshan village in Jushui Township offers a particularly useful comparison. Rulong Bridge, south of the village over Juxi Stream, was rebuilt in 1625. Its protective timber boarding is pierced by small vase-shaped, round and fan-shaped windows, while the roof turns upward at the corners. Laifeng Bridge to the north has a different construction: a roofed gallery sits above a stone arch.
Elsewhere, Lanxi Bridge in Xiyang village, Wudabao Township, carries its timber arch over Songyuan Stream. These separate village settings are part of the attraction: the county-wide name describes a collection of crossings rather than one enclosed bridge park.

- Rulong Bridge's shaped windows and overlapping weatherboards in Yueshan.
- Laifeng Bridge's stone arch beneath its covered gallery, north of Yueshan.
