Plan the longer journeys first, then work out the last leg to your accommodation and sights.

Choose the intercity leg

Compare door-to-door travel time for rail and flights, including transfers to the exact stations or airports. A shorter scheduled journey may involve a longer transfer at either end. Use your arrival city as the base for checking the next connection.

Choose the local connection

On destination pages, use the local map and the named transport gateways to plan the final leg. Metro diagrams show network geometry; confirm service changes, the station exit and the visitor entrance separately. Mountain and rural trips may need an onward coach, shuttle or taxi.

Check the return before leaving

Save the return station or pickup point and the operator’s current timetable. Group nearby visits before adding a distant excursion. For self-drive travel, confirm official driving eligibility before comparing rental offers.
