Equan 鹅泉

Equan is a clear spring beside a village and cultivated fields in the Jingxi limestone landscape.

About Equan

Its interest is the close grouping of water, old masonry and rural surroundings rather than a long mountain hike. An old multi-arched stone bridge crosses the water, while the small island with Yangao Temple adds a built landmark beside the spring. Slow down around the basin to see the changing reflections and the relationship between the village and its water.

Getting to Equan

Travel to Equan Village in Jingxi and use the signed spring scenic-area entrance. The documented village road provides the final approach; ask your driver for Equan scenic area rather than a general Jingxi city drop-off.
