About Longshou Mountain
Longshou forms part of the connected Longshan hills, whose ridgeline also includes Longwei. Its slopes are known for apricot blossom in spring, locust blossom in early summer and maple foliage in autumn, giving the same city hill quite different appearances through the year.
Xiufeng Pagoda, Ciqing Temple and Siwang Pavilion are distinctive landmarks along the mountain's cultural landscape. Together with gardens and inscriptions, they give a climb here a strong connection to Tieling's local memory as well as its woodland scenery.
What to look for
- Xiufeng Pagoda and the temple setting of Ciqing Temple.
- Siwang Pavilion among the mountain's cultural landmarks.
- Apricot and locust blossom in their seasons, followed by autumn maple foliage.
