About Luding Mountain
The mountain belongs to the Humaerwoji branch of the Greater Khingan range. Its abrupt rock faces contrast with the broad plain below, where the Huma River winds towards the town.
From the summit, the river's bends, the surrounding lowland and Huma's buildings can be seen together. The association with Jin Yong adds a literary layer to this northern mountain landscape, linking the real viewpoint with the imagined world of his novel.
