About Yunshang Grassland
At 1,168 metres, Chidouyang rises above the village landscape of Gaojiatang. The resort uses this height difference to place open grassland and mountain views beside a developed cliff circuit. Its best-known structure, Sky Steps, projects from the mountainside as an A-shaped glass walkway, making the drop below part of the viewing experience.
Grass-sliding areas, climbing installations and other engineered attractions occupy different parts of the resort, and a ski facility gives it a winter sporting role. The scenery remains closely tied to the surrounding bamboo hills and valleys, while the visitor experience is shaped by the resort’s modern structures. Seasonal facilities and exposed cliff attractions depend on the conditions and operations applicable to a particular visit.
