Cactus Fruit Ice Dessert 仙人掌冰
Cactus Fruit Ice Dessert is featured among the local specialties of Taiwan.

Cactus Fruit Ice Dessert (仙人掌冰) is a purple-red, sweet-and-tangy frozen dessert in Penghu (澎湖), Taiwan (台湾). One local serving combines cactus-fruit jam, crushed ice and a scoop of cactus ice cream.
A fruit-and-ice combination
At Ahong Cactus Speciality Shop (阿虹仙人掌專賣店), cactus-fruit juice is made into a jam containing fruit pulp. The jam is chilled before crushed ice is added, and a ball of cactus ice cream finishes the cup. The shop is in Xiaomen Village (小門村), Xiyu Township (西嶼鄉).
Penghu shops
The Penghu tourism administration also identifies Yi Jia Cactus Ice (易家仙人掌冰) as the original Penghu cactus-ice shop. It is in Tongliang Village (通梁村), Baisha Township (白沙鄉), and its frozen dessert is described as having a sweet-and-sour flavour.
