About Fengshan Folk Culture Scenic Area
The old temple uses three halls and two courtyards, with ceramic inlay, carved wood and stone worked into the architecture. Tianhou Pavilion and the higher statue extend the visit towards the waterfront view. The wider attraction was renamed Fengshan Folk Culture Tourism Area in April 2026; the ancestral temple remains a central part of it.
What to look for
- The ancestral temple’s courtyards contain ceramic inlay, woodcarving and stone decoration.
- The hilltop Mazu stone statue overlooks Pinqing Lake and the coastal city.

Getting to Fengshan Folk Culture Scenic Area
Go to the Fengshan site on Pinqing Lake in southeastern urban Shanwei. Use Fengshan Folk Culture Tourism Area or Fengshan Ancestral Temple as the destination; the newer name reflects the April 2026 official renaming.
